Despite losing out to Conchita Wurst for the Eurovision 2014 winner's crown, runners-up The Common Linnets are now ready to make their impact on the music industry.

Having secured the number one spot on iTunes in 12 different countries with their new single, Calm After The Storm, released June 16 and performed on the popular singing competition, this year will see the Dutch country duo re-issue their self titled debut album in the UK. Steadily making their way up the charts with the track, which is about a couple struggling to hold onto their relationship, the band's authentic sound derives from the likes of James Taylor, Johnny Cash and Emmylou Harris, who they name as their main inspirations.
